4. Today, the relevance of the Robocast portfolio has shifted from patent protection to the frontier of AI Safety. Having moved toward trade secret protections, the focus is now on "Guiding Innovations for Safer Automations." The "command and control" structures described in the original patents provide a framework for what researchers now call "Bounded Autonomy"—ensuring that as AI becomes more powerful, it remains within safe, verifiable limits.


5. From the early days of automated browsing to the current challenge of super-alignment, the Robocast legacy is a reminder that the tools we use today to navigate the digital world were envisioned long before the hardware caught up to the dream.
